Martin Nelson
Editor Martin Nelson has cut numerous award-winning shows for NBC, PBS, The Discovery Channel, TLC, A&E, Animal Planet, Showtime, the SciFi Channel and others. His early work for National Geographic Explorer earned him an Emmy and a second Emmy nomination. He has cut museum pieces for the Smithsonian Institution, the National Portrait Gallery, The National Park Service and The Oklahoma Bombing Memorial. Commercial clients include Time-Life Video, CableOne and various political campaigns. Corporate and event clients have included the American Federation of Teachers, Pfizer Pharmaceutical and the Democratic National Committee. Nelson served as editor on Desert Bayou, a feature-length documentary shown in theaters nationwide that explores culture shock in the wake of the Hurricane Katrina diaspora. Nominated for an NAACP Spirit Award in 2008, the film will air on PBS later this year.
